Dr. Mathew Jensen
Mathew Jensen, DMD, is a pediatric dentist at Surprise Pediatric Dentistry. He is proud to offer the best in pediatric dentistry to patients in Surprise, Arizona, and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Jensen enjoys being a child-focused dentist and strives to improve the lives of those he works with. He loves treating children and teens and making a difference in their self-esteem through quality oral health care.
Originally from southeast Idaho, Dr. Jensen served a mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Alberta, Canada, after high school. He then moved to Provo, Utah, where he graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. It was at BYU where he met his lovely wife, Linda, and they were married in Manti, Utah, during his senior year.
Upon graduating from BYU, he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Jensen returned to Utah to complete a residency in general dentistry at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Afterward, he completed another residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. Following his residency, he opened a private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he practiced for eight years.
Dr. Jensen and his wife, Linda, are proud parents of four children: Anna, Elizabeth, Zachary, and Nathan.
